Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her role as Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she's responsible covering everything from NASA and the newly formed Space Force up until commercial space firms, as well as the rise and development in space travel. Kristin was raised in the field of space as the granddaughter and daughter of NASA astronauts. In the past five years, she has covered space policies under Biden and Trump Administrations for FOX News. In addition to covering two impeachment proceedings against the president, 2020's Presidential Campaign, and both administrations attempts to curb the coronavirus epidemic, Kristin covered a lot of other subjects. Former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan on a highly-restricted trip. Kristin worked her way through the local news markets of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for more than a decade prior to becoming a part of the network. She was awarded the Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. as an CBS station's reporter who was a one-man band. Kristin founded Field Mouse Films with her expertise behind the camera in 2014. The firm specialized on creating documentaries for corporate clients, including Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism at Boston University. Kristin lives with husband, daughter, and her three-year-old son in Washington, D.C.
